This is a great park with very nice facilities. We were in spot #18 near the new bathroom. Choose spot #6 for a nice spot near the lake.

Beautiful and peaceful camping!
We stayed here at end of October 2019. Great time of year to be here for quiet, peaceful camping. We were at site # 7. It was perfect! Literally had view of the lake at sunrise right in our "backyard". Across the road is site # 6 which is slightly better for view of the lake at sunset. The sites are big and you are not on top of other campers. Definitely enough room for a camper and a tent. This park is kept up very well and the bathrooms were heated and very clean. There are no laundry facilities but there is a laundromat close by in Blue Ridge. There is no official check-in. You just find your site and the staff will be driving around and see you are there. If you are a tent camper, there are plenty of lake front sites right on peninsula. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent place on lake blue ridge, new bath house at entrance of park. Road have a few potholes needing work. Some sites not so level, but great place. Beach near by, great town to walk.

Lots of fun staying here. We walked in and found a site right on the water- how great! Peaceful, scenic, and an easy drive to great local spots for any of our needs. Returning and relaxing is on our list of things to do for next season.

We loved camping here! It was beautiful, the campsites were clean, and we had a great time using our kayaks on the lake. We'll definitely be back.

This was our first camping trip at this site. It's a great place to camp on a beautiful, uncrowded lake. We reserved a campsite with lake access because we took our kayaks. The facilities are very clean and convenient. The swimming area is large. The camp host was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and plan to make this our regular camping location.

Best campsite in Georgia. I’ve spent 100s of nights camping. I got married last year and my wife had never been. For her first campout ever I chose Morganton Point! She’s now a big camping fan!! Beautiful place!

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
