We spent $233 reserving the group campground at Bull Trout Lake. To get to the campground, you drive over 2 miles on the dustiest washboard road imaginable. The campground is just as dusty and dirty as the road. Every vehicle that drives by adds another dust cloud. Our reserved campsite had a few tables out in the middle of a large clearing....no shade. We contacted our group and cancelled our reservation. Would never go back.

The camp hosts are extremely nice and helpful, the spot is gorgeous. The only complaint we had related to very noisy neighbors - think arriving in camp at 2.30 AM, playing loud music in the wee hours of the morning, letting their dogs bark their heads off without intervening in any way. So a noisy place. But if you bring earplugs, you may be able to enjoy the beauty of this place.

The campgrounds are nice and well maintained. The area is beautiful and the proximity to the lake is nice. There are a couple hours near sundown that the mosquitoes come out in force so be ready. The lake is largely shallow and warm near shore, but quite full of algae.
Will be back another time!

The week of July 6-10 there was guns being fired either in camp, or very near. They were not Firecrackers! The speed limit was not adhered to by other campers when arriving, returning, or looking for a camp site. The toilet facilities nearest our camp site ran out of toilet paper.

We love camping here!! Good fishing.. quiet.. the water on Martin lake was so clear you could see the bottom in the middle of it. It’s a regular spot for our family!
