What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

It’s very pretty from the water. The place Is well run and kept immaculate with everything in working order and convenient. Showers and dishwashing sinks and everything have super hot water which is good. Near sandpoint which is a good place to hang for a day. Many many nice seating options at the beach and gorgeous sunsets and an eagle cupola lives nearby they are fun to watch. It’s very rocky. They seemed to haul rocks in to cover the forest floor in the areas you would probably put a tent.... the sites are very close together you will not want to expect privacy and solitude. The birch loop is the most crowded so try to get the other one if you want it. My site 25 was very small and in the sun most of the day if I had a tent I would not have known where to put it. On the rocks I guess.

I was tent-camping. The camp host came by and made me move my tent from a nice spot in the trees to right beside my vehicle. That was fine. An RV pulled in a little way from my site with loud campers and dogs. The camp host came back by and said the loud campers would not be staying as they had had complaints about the noise and the dogs. After a little while, as it was getting dark, I walked up to the check-in booth and was told that the RV was staying, but I could move. again. So, after getting all set up for the second time, I decided to move my tent to the spot a little farther away from the noise. I really wasn't sure what kind of people the RVer's were. It would have been nice if they would have been the ones to move. But, maybe they paid more than me to camp at the lovely Springy Point!

The best site is right next to the water. Great trails and really close to town, but not too close.
