Roads are not as bad as described. Reservoir water level seemed really low. Great campground. Would do it again.

Beautiful, well kept campground with great amenities. The volunteers keep the campground in top condition, especially the bathrooms! Our kids loved riding their bikes on the road, hiking the trail and the playground. The lake is great for boats and fishing but not ideal for kids or swimming. The shore is steep and very muddy. I sank several inches when trying to get in and out of the water. The road to the campground can be pretty steep just to warn people

Dent acres was clean quiet and a great experience. I found the campground while just looking for a weekend getaway to hang out, paddle board, and ride bikes around camp. As most people will say, the road in from Orofino was definitely interesting but nothing too crazy. Mostly guardrailed curvy two lane road with some very steep sections both up and down. I had a 16’ trailer and I saw some much bigger trailers and RVs in camp that came up the same road. I don’t recommend coming in at night like I did because without having extra lights on the front of your vehicle it would not have been fun, luckily I did. The bathrooms at dent acres were clean and free hot showers are great. I also enjoyed the covered picnic tables very much as a storm came through and everything on the table and the bikes leaned up against it stayed almost completely dry. Full hook ups for the price per night is a steal as well!

Direction in not the best. Should let people know about the road into the park and how dangerous it is. I will never recommend this park to anyone because of the road.

The area was nice, the campsites and restrooms were very clean, there were accessible trash cans and a dumpster, a nice trail leading off of the campsite. Each campsite has it's own water spigot, which was very easy to use and tasted fine. Campsite is a bit hard to access, the roads get a bit bumpy at points so do be prepared for that.

All was good and clean as normal. Great volunteers doing a very good job and friendly. But we got there in all the heat and smoke from the fires. We were there 5 days had to leave early to get out of the smoke but we will return.
Thanks guys good job.

The best lake in Idaho, for fishing, recreation, and just touring by boat.
The camp sites are small and there's little shade. Be sure to reserve a site with as much shade as possible.
Very nice fish cleaning station. Lots of dumpsters for trash. Good docking facilities.

Dent Acres is a great COE campground with pull thrus and full hook ups sitting on Dwarshak Reservoir. I can see why they put a length limit of 35' for rv's or trailers, anything longer would be hard to maneuver the road or level on the site. Sites are large, have covered picnic tables and fire rings. Not a lot of shade on lower sites, however, so be prepared for the sun all day. Restrooms are fine, showers could use a little upgrade. The 18 miles of road getting to the campground will test your nerves and your driving skills, take it slow and pay attention. We pulled our 35' fifth wheel with our 21' diesel truck, doable with little traffic on the road. The camp hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable. Bring your boat, nice launch and plenty of parking, lake is great for fishing or sight seeing.

This is a fantastic RV park. Full hookup!!
Sites ate spacious, clean, park is laid out well. Highly recommend this park. We spent 4 nights here and truly enjoyed our visit. Camp hosts greeted us right away and immediately notified us of possible evacuation due to unstable road into park. Road was good and paddable while we were there.
Quite a long (1 hr) drive into park!
