We used to love going to Dent Acres, but last summer the outside lights on the bathrooms we changed. Now there are blinding floodlights that shine intensely into the campgrounds, even around the fire pits. It really ruins the night time, and is vey annoying. I think they should be removed, or maybe a hood or shield could be fashioned to direct the light down to the ground instead of out into all the campsites.

We did not have one of the "good" sites. Ours was such that our 'camp' side faced the bank instead of the view. In making the reservation, I didn't understand how the sites were laid out. Now I do! The driving instructions from Orofino should be changed to offer an alternative route on Wells Bench road. The hill coming up out of Orofino is very steep, too steep for some RVs I think. Also, there is only one trash dumpster, which is way down at the boat launch. Please install another one at the exit by the booth! The hosts that were camped up by the entry booth were very nice and very helpful. Kudos to them. Everything was very clean and tidy.

The area was beautiful and well kept. We appreciate the staff and volunteers that do such a great job. Loved the large spaces that were not hard to get in and out of. Looking forward to going back someday soon

The 3 mile RT hike to the Group Camp Site area offered a plethora of spring flowers to view. Only a couple fallen logs challenged us;I am sure the Corp will have cut a path through them before our next stay. A lovely campground.

The water level was very low and there was no way to get to the water except walking down the boat ramp. That did not seem very safe, so we never went down to the water. One member of our group went off to the side of the boat ramp to go fishing but did not catch any fish. I liked that the sites were drive through and they were pretty level. I did not need to level my RV. The sites did not have much unhilly area so our group of nine rigs pretty much stayed by the site that had the flattest ground area. The sites were well maintained. The fire pits were good. The only reason I will not camp there again is that the road to the camp is very narrow and winding and I was afraid the whole time I was driving in and out that I would meet another RV or truck and be forced off the road. We never left the camp during our stay because no one wanted to endure that road until we absolutely had to. We did enjoy the camping trip, and it was much quieter than many other campgrounds.
