We have been going to Luby Bay for many years. This year one of the camp hosts made the experience less than pleasant. She was in the lower loop and her behavior was unacceptable.

Fees fees fees. After you pay for your campsite, there are more fees for parking, day use at the beach if you park a car, and even dumping your Rv! Campsites are not clean, camp hosts are not welcoming or friendly, this is not the luby bay campground many of us have enjoyed for years. Ever since scenic canyons management has taken over it has turned into a money grab with camp hosts that try to make rules up as they go for our kids while staying there, what times during the day you can run your generator (depending on what time they take their naps), boats being used/ secured on state water, the list goes on……

We Enjoyed Our Family gathering once again ! .. ( been camping there for the last 36 years ... :) ...
There was one aggravation/disappointment ... The camp hosts were charging the registered camp vehicle ( car ) an extra day use if you parked in the lower parking lot ... Which has Never happened before !!! ... Which created a lot of extra work getting fun stuff down to the beach !! .... :(

Luby Bay Idaho is a gem, secret out of the way haven to enjoy the natural beauty of a pristine & unspoiled part of the world.
Great atmosphere, and food down the road at Hills Resort which is walking distance, Elkins Lodge & Millies.
