Site 18 @ S. Marcum campground.
Beautiful park and campground. Lots of shade. Clean restroom (did not use shower house).
The paved walking paths were excellent.
Our site slanted down one side so we had to use 3 blocks to level. The site was long enough for our 36’ camper with slides on both sides and our truck with room to spare.
Picnic table had some standing water & completely flooded with heavy rain. Most of the water drained within 24 hours.
Most sites we noticed had some kind of slant but nothing a leveling block or two can’t fix nor prevent us from coming back. Overall this campground is one of our favorites. We plan on returning and may try other sections and/or Army Corp Engineers campgrounds on the lake.

Verizon phone signal is weak, and wish grass was cut. Overall we love this campground and will continue to come here every year!

Good lake view. Nice area to walk around in the park. We got to see some turkeys, deer, and other animals in the park.

We try to camp at least 2
Time a year at Rend Lake. Always clean and keep mowed.
A very good walk/ bike path. You do need to ck web site for how level the sites are or are not!

We absolutely love rend lake. The problem is you have to reserve a site 6 months ahead or sooner. Which is not right at all. Us locals are the ones who pay the taxes to keep it running and we can't get in to enjoy it. It needs to go back to first come first serve.
