We stayed in site 380 with a 26ft trailer and truck. Some water access but banks were rocked. Good privacy and some shade. Rode bikes on lake trails.

The campsite was nice, plenty of room, and the nice young lady at the booth that checked us in was helpful. It was an easy walk to the bathrooms and shower house. I would definitely stay here again.

One of our favorite campgrounds we have been to. We met such nice people around us, but still had plenty of space to feel as though we weren’t on top of each other. Absolutely stunning in the fall. We will be back!

The campground is quite a way from the main road but that does depend a bit on how your GPS sends you in to the park. Lots of space between sites and good biking/walking opportunities in park. We stayed in site 56 which is on the water but the pad was very slanted - need blocks to level.

The bike trails were very good. It would be even better if they completed the loop around the lake. The visitor center was excellent. So is the staff.

Our walk-in site (T-11) was wonderful!!! So beautiful to be right on the water and away from the noisy RVs. And plenty of space between walk-in sites. The only drawback is the traffic noise from interstate 57 (which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5); I didn't have trouble sleeping through it because it's a constant droning sound (like some people may use to help them sleep), but I prefer to hear the sounds of nature. Unfortunately, there's no way for this to be mitigated.
