We was in whuspering pines #135. We liked the being by the basketball court. The kids played basketball and drew with chalk. They rode bikes and scooters on it. We were also close to showerhouse and bathrooms. A nearby playground is a great thing too. We enjoyed the
nearby hiking trail and the kids liked the bike trail. We had great weather while we was there and it was a very pleasant campsite.

Both camp spots had a steep slope. The photos show the spots as being flat. Luckily our friends had extra leveling blocks.
Also October is a beautiful month and two whole loops was closed completely. The campground was sold out. Open up the campground in October.

Beautiful campground! The original site (87) we reserved was too sloped for our motorhome, so they very graciously found another site (110) that worked just fine. The biggest complaint I have with ACE campgrounds in Illinois is that there is no soap in any restroom.

The woman at the entrance was super friendly and helpful which was an amazing start to my time here. The was my first time here and I know I will be back. The sunrises were amazing and the park was quiet.
