South marcum campground is very nice and most sites have very nice and clean bath houses with showers very close to most campsites. South marcum campground has a boat ramp very close to the campsites and very good fishing and water run right close.

Site 47 took a bit to level side to side. Loud bikers through the day, but were quiet at night. No lake view and only electric.

Online reservations stated that site 126 was beside 125 but it was a Roos the road from it. Map on online site is wrong and I alerted them and they stated to contact the park facilities. I let a park ranger know this info. Also site stated it would park 3 vehicles and it did not even park 2 and a camper. Needs to have a side parking spot like other sites have. Site needs full dirt or gravel. A lot of exposed tree roots. Fire ring was too close to picnic table. Not a good site at all. Would not have booked this site if the map online the reservation site would have been correct

This is our favorite spot. We have access to park our fishing boat down close to the site and caught a bunch of channel cat off the rocks. The pad is a little slanted but, it wasn’t a problem. There is Plenty of shad and the pad size if perfect. The camp host is so friendly and helpful and has been every time we go.
