Sunrises and sunsets with blasts of color. Starlit nights and yellow campfires. Eagles, hawks, osprey, white pelicans, egrets all in their magnificent glory. We love south marcum. Nice bathrooms, large wooded lots, pleasant hosts, with nearby Benton with shopping. Bring binoculars and a hammock.

Very easy check in with friendly staff. Facilities were kept very clean. The walk in sites all have a great view of the lake and are in very easy walking distance to the ample parking area.

Love camping out here. We came about the same time last year and it was just as perfect as ever. We will be coming back sometime soon!

Absolutely loved this site! Easy to back trailer into, no slope even! Boat access at waters edge. Clean restroom/shower house right across from site- very handy! Very private spot- not alot of street traffic.

Booked site because close to bathrooms. Impressed with cleanliness of restroom/shower house. Site has a slope, not very good for long trailers. Loved the extra space for 2nd vehicle. Right on road though, not very private- everyone looks at you when they drive by.

Loved the bicycle path, visitors center very neat for kids. Nice, quiet and peaceful place to get away! Returning in 2 weeks, for more fun! :)

We stayed in #16 and it was OK. The picnic table was in the back of the camper instead of being right outside the door. We have a 40' 5th wheel and it seemed a little tight getting through and around the campground. Otherwise it was a really nice place. We will try and make it back there sometime.
