First time camping here. Very nice campground. Clean and spacious for the most part. Hosts pleasant and accommodating. Nice beach area and boat ramp facilities. Would be nicer if you had more shower houses on site.

We just spent 3 days here last week and it was a very nice campground. The camp host was AWESOME when we were checking in we asked about the location of water to fill our tanks and immediately, he offered us a FHU site that had just recently been canceled. Of course we took it and it was right across (the inlet) from the beach area so we had great views of families playing. Cell service was good. Downfall is there is no camp store (common in COE parks), but the closet "store" had very limited hours so you had to drive into Carlyle

I stayed in the loop A area. The spot #48 was excellent. The pad was asphalted and pretty level. The campground host were very friendly and helpful. There was two negatives. The grass was getting a little tall and I couldn’t stay longer then a week.

We are camping at Coles creek campground for 10 years and is always great experience beside two things!
Please keep the campground open for at least two more weeks if not a whole month! And second thing is poor internet connection!

It was well maintained. The host was a bit rude as we turned in the green site card instead of the yellow site card. He stressed that HE would have to make the effort to go get the yellow card.

Generally a really nice place. Incredibly clean, great sites, and activities for the kids. The playgrounds are a little dodgy, but safe. On this last visit I was mortified to see a huge confederate flag hanging at a campsite across from the amphitheater. That is not something I want to be a part of, I won't be going back.

This site did not agree with out A/C. Days were high 90’s and kept throwing a breaker for the A/C. Beautiful view from the site. Super clean facilities. Amazing beach!!!! The power issue just really blew it for me.
