Great campground. Other than the lake, not much around the area to do but this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we like it. It has nice restrooms and shower houses.

Lone Point Campground offers a variety of well-maintained sites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great option for relaxation. Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. While some sites may be unlevel and require extra care, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed eagerness to return.

We have a travel trailer and we camped on lot 46. It was one of the best sites in the campground. I picked it because it was waterfront. It was a little tight for our 26 ft travel trailer to use use the turnaround and then back in the site. The front end of the site was in an incline. We had to use levelers on one side of the TT. It wasn’t a big deal.
The site was large and there was a pretty good shade tree. It was really hot so we had to move our chairs around to stay in the shade.
We walked around the campground and most of the sites are large and shaded. The campground was not crowded at all since we stayed during the week.
We didn’t use the shower house but we checked them out and they were very fresh and clean.
The campground hosts were very friendly and stopped to check on us several times.
We had a very relaxing time and will be back. We didn’t really do any activities in the area because we came to just sit around and relax. We are boaters and enjoyed watching the boats on the lake and families having fun. We did see 2 deer also.

Really nice campground and some sites offer full hookups which is great. We had site 10 and it was great! Love this campground. Our grandkids had a blast at the nice little park which was very close to our site
