Electric only and no WiFi limited our experience some but a beautiful park nonetheless. A fishing pier would be a nice benefit.

Lone Point Campground offers a variety of well-maintained sites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great option for relaxation. Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. While some sites may be unlevel and require extra care, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed eagerness to return.

We had site #34- just on the other side of the nice restrooms/shower house. It was a bit steep so husband had to use several blocks under the tires to make it more level. It rained a lot and wasn't very muddy.

We stayed on site 8 which was recently paved. Site had full hookups and was almost level. Park was well maintained and staff were great. Now if only the weather would have cooperated. We will be back!

Nice campground with pleasant and considerate campers. Not far from the beach at the dam.

We have camped in the Lake Shelbyville area for almost 20 years. The times we have spent at Lone Point we typically encounter a rude host. Now there are a few nice ones. But we have been yelled at for arriving before “check in”, not checking out early enough, a friend tried to enter the campground to visit us on their golf cart and were yelled at to leave. It just isn’t very welcoming or relaxing. We have never been aproached for arriving at 3PM for a site we reserved until we came to Lone Point. If the site is empty why is that a problem?
Also when we arrived last weekend our site was dirty. The firepit was full of debri and garbage from previous guests. There were bits of trash all over the site also.
