Lone Point is our favorite place to stay at!! We found a perfect spot for us and our doggies. We are retired so we stay 2 weeks at a time!! We are very upset to hear park closed. Went to other parks and can't always get in. No matter how early. And some of those big parks have kids who run all over!! Can't go without worry one will run out in front. Please don't close!!

This was one of the best camping trips my Husband and I have taken, especially around Lake Shelbyville. The spaces near the lake are
spacious and allow for some privacy with a stunning view. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, the facilities were updated and easy to get to. We were so excited to go back until we heard the campground would not be opening in the upcoming season. This would be our new normal spot to go if it weren't for that!

Very nice and well maintained campground! Great playground for children and easy lake access from almost all sites. It would be very irresponsible and foolish to close this campground down after all of the improvements made recently.
