Campground bathroom and shower facilities are nice and kept clean. Campsites are large and nicely spaced.
There are areas of stagnant water standing in the campground and a huge mosquito population as a result. Mosquitoes are expected, this was out of control.
The train goes by at least hourly and repeatedly sounds its horn at the intersection each time. Between this and the road noise the campground is "unsleepable." I left rather than stay a second night.

The sites are large, the bathhouses are clean, and the National Park is amazing. There are wildflowers and birds. The only issue is 100 trains per day that pass nearby.

Many lot depths are not noted on the listings, resulting in filtering with a lot depth showing no spots available making it difficult to know that there are tons of decently-deep lots for back in and many pull thrus. Super nice and clean with well-spaced lots. The bathrooms and showers were the nicest we have seen and even have an outside utility sink behind and a bench and outlet in front. Only downsides were a bit of road noise and trains every so often and not knowing upon arriving if any spots are available. We stayed in the Douglas loop.

Good place but difficult to park our 25 ft trailer. Everything else was very good. It was nice to be so close to the dunes!

Very level sites. Wish the web site provided better maps of the campsites

We went in early April, so the campground was fairly empty. It was a rainy day. The campground is clean. There is a nearby gas station and store where you can get food, snacks, firewood, beer, there is also a restaurant near the entrance Of the campground. The bathrooms were warm and clean. The showers were decent. Good pressure. They are lit up all night long. Otherwise there are no lights in the Campground. Hours, there are no electrical outlets. You are between an interstate highway and a fairly busy train track that blows its whistle frequently. Keep that in mind. This is not the serene wilderness, quiet solitude.
