Very nice campground. The sites were well spaced out and it felt private. We would stay there again. The fire wood that we purchased from a little store right across from the entrance to the campground was the best fire wood ever!

We love the solitude at Dunewood nestled in amongst the vegetation. The train running nearby through the night blowing its horn is a nice addition to remedy a good night's sleep. Make sure to stop by the general store for firewood vs the gas station. It's kiln dried hardwood vs green something that just sizzles. Kemil Beach is nice for a good view of a metropolis floating on the water.

Terrific campground! Very well maintained. Plenty of trees in between sites for privacy. Nearby store and gas station well stocked with supplies. Can't wait to return to explore more of the park!

This is a nice campground and I would consider site 13 spacious. In September there is a reasonable amount of privacy between campsites. The bathrooms are clean and in good shape. However, even without my hearing aids in, there was quite a bit of noise from traffic (nearby freeways) and trains.

The facilities were nice, very clean bathrooms and spacious campsite. The walk-in sites were pretty well spaced out but a further walk than I anticipated. The main problem was that mosquitoes were absolutely relentless during our early September stay. Plan to cover every inch of your body and wear a net over your head or you will be eaten alive. We ate our dinner and fled to the beach where it was gorgeous and bug free. Left at dawn and at breakfast elsewhere. Simply not possible to enjoy time at the camp site unless you have a screened tent or something.
