Easy access from interstate. Sites are electric only, but bath houses are not bad and water/dump is available at entrance to campground. A lot of activities within the park.

This is a lovely campground. Nice and quiet, beautiful views. Only reason for not 5 stars is that the sites are electric only. No biggie!

Best place ever. Friendly, clean and helpful. One complaint is that one late afternoon, early evening on a Wednesday a couple of overly loud jet skis raced by the shore and disturbed the peace for several hours. We wished the rangers had addressed that. Thank you!

Very clean and well kept campground. We are regular visitors and appreciate the care put into the upkeep. The bathhouse closer to the lake could us a refresh of the showers but they are not bad for campground standards. The lake and location make it very handy.

We would like to again thank Zachary (Park Ranger) for helping us out, when we came to camp. Someone was in W58 and we had the spot reserved. His pleasant personality was the best. Thank you again for making our stay great!

Excellent camp grounds, good fire place decently priced firewood, clean restrooms and showers. Good place for bicycle riding. Good place to get a rootbeer float and Hamburger right around the corner.

It was great to be able to get on the bike trail so easily. So close to town. Truly a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back again.

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 miles and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 miles and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 miles, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
