What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant stay for visitors. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Wildcat Den State Park and offers a peaceful atmosphere, particularly during midweek. However, the proximity to active train tracks results in frequent noise, which may be a drawback for those sensitive to sound.

We always have a wonderful time camping at Clark’s Ferry. It is so peaceful and relaxing, even though we are next to train tracks.

cows mooing all night, beginning at 7pm, then followed by trains blaring their whistles every 15 minutes to get the same cows off the track from 2am, thru 5am when I couldn't take it anymore and packed up my sight because it wasn't even close to dawn and there is NO WAY TO SLEEP......This place is a crazy zpne...not a pace to camp and enjoy the outdoors! GET IT OFF THE SITE OR TELL YOU AHEAD OF TIME, OK?

Wonderful park. Amenities were nice & clean. Wide spaces. Scenic river views. Folks were amazingly quiet and peaceful. Only minor annoyance was the trains that past thru during the night. Love the commerce but wish it had been just a little farther away from the park.

We love being on the river to enjoy the barge traffic, and boating. We always visit as many lock and dams as we have time for. It is especially interesting to watch barges go thru locks...both loaded and empty. The Quad cities are nearby, so lots of fun things to do nearby. The sites are very nice and roomy, and host and Ranger are very friendly and helpful.
