What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant stay for visitors. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Wildcat Den State Park and offers a peaceful atmosphere, particularly during midweek. However, the proximity to active train tracks results in frequent noise, which may be a drawback for those sensitive to sound.

Very nice, except an occasional train going by during quiet hours. Would be even better with full hook-ups.

Beautiful Park next to river. Trains are noisy but only 3 or 4 a day. Would stay again.

Nice sites. Clean and nice surroundings. Bathroom/shower excellent. Could have done without the train whistles but got used to it.

Very nice and well kept campground. We had a great time! I’m sure others have probably mentioned the train, it’s frequent and very loud. Just something to be aware of.

The dump station is over run with bushes. Clearing the large bush to enter puts you close to the dumping area. Not understanding concrete poles. Although they made it hard to open my wetbay door to dump. Had to decide to cut through the flowers or walk around the RV to position my RV for the wet Bay door to open. Additionally, the dumping area is not recessed. Spillage is not something you do not want with draining waste. Bound to happen and to have to walk thru it? Sad.....

This is a nice little campground next to the Mississippi River. It is right by a railroad track. The bathroom is spacious and clean.
