What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant stay for visitors. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Wildcat Den State Park and offers a peaceful atmosphere, particularly during midweek. However, the proximity to active train tracks results in frequent noise, which may be a drawback for those sensitive to sound.

The Camp Host was right on the spot; greeting us on check in, tags already posted at site, and updated daily at all sites. Sites were clean and mowed for incoming campers quickly after campers vacated sites. Bath/showers were spotless.
Excellent maintained facility.

Nice people run it. It’s always a pleasant stay. The guy that runs the train likes to honk his horn. But if you camp by tracks you got to put up with trains. They never last long. Best place in Quad City to camp.

I selected a site (#9) so we would have a view of the river and I was not disappointed! The sites along the river were a little closer together than the other sites but I didn’t feel like we were on top of each other.
The train track was next to the campground but there didn’t seem to be a regular schedule so it was acceptable.
The water hydrants were shared and the policy was to fill your tank and then unhook. Each site has electricity. The dump station area was clean.
The showers appeared clean but I don’t think they were cleaned as regular as the showers at Lake Red Rock.

New shower house is very nice!! Only downfall is the train tracks so very close to the campground but I guess that can’t be helped.

For a small campground, it is very well maintained. Showers are private rooms kept clean!'
Beautiful views of the River.

We had the perfect site 11 from which to watch the river barges! That was our goal. We also enjoyed the platform for fishing. Everything was convenient and very well kept. We would highly recommend this location,

New shower /bathroom, installed this year. Very happy with everything there. even the dump site was very easy to use and raised up to make it even better. The COE made a campground we will want to return to over and over.

Good people that run and take of the place. Good place to go and relax. The River is next to camp ground. Can launch a boat, fish or set and relax. Train comes by once in awhile. Just a nice place!!!!!!!! 4 new bathrooms with showers. Nice and private.
