What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant stay for visitors. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Wildcat Den State Park and offers a peaceful atmosphere, particularly during midweek. However, the proximity to active train tracks results in frequent noise, which may be a drawback for those sensitive to sound.

A nice, quiet campground on the Mississippi River. Clean bathrooms and well kept campgrounds.

Site 10 is on the water. Flat concrete pad. No worries on clearance. 25’ truck camper plus Jeep fit fine. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Beautiful views of the Mississippi. Went over to Wildcat Den SP nice walk. The only down side is the railroad tracks border the campground and they run 24/7 blowing their whistle.

The campground was very nice and had great views of the Mississippi River. Electric only with water available in the campground and a nice place to dump. The reason I didn’t rate it higher is due to something beyond the control of the campground- the busy rail line right next to it. You must cross the tracks as you enter the campground which means the trains blow their horns as they approach that crossing. It will wake you up several times during the night.

Nice place to relax and watch the barges on the river. Lot of trains too so it can be a little noisy. Campsites are nice with adequate space between sites.

This is a wonderfully maintained campground. We stayed in site 9. We could sit under our awning and watch the tugs and barges go down the Mississippi. The camp host was wonderful. She greeted us as we pulled in and came to see us the next day to see how we were doing and inquire if we needed anything. There are lots of things to see in this area. We will DEFINATELY be returning.
