Just stayed for one night in the middle of the week. I was the only one in the loop. It was relaxing.

I love Mound Valley and camp there every year for my birthday week with a large group of my friends and family. The camp hosts have always been helpful and friendly. The previous 10 years we have stayed in the cul-de sac with sites 52-56. This year we stayed in sites 76-85. We had issues with the electricity in sites 79-81. The breaker is not large enough to run all three sites when the temperature is high. The breakers kept tripping. The hosts had to come out and turn them back on about every 45 minutes. We had dogs and napping kids in the campers which could have been deadly had we not been right at the campground the whole time and realized the power had went out. Hopefully they get the issue fixed before we return. If not we may be forced to find somewhere else to go.

This particular weekend was hotter than the surface of the sun. The camp ground was basically full, there were a ton of boats on the water in the nearby cove. But site was clean and level, the water and electric worked fine, the bath houses were clean. We stayed two nights.

Itβs really nice it has shimming, fishing, and restroom with showers. But the RV parking pads are deteriorating and narrow for the modern day RVs so when you step out of your RV the ground is uneven and in some places you can risk getting injured.
