Very clean and well maintained. Phone service was good. I was even able to stream on my television. Beautiful reservoir.

MOUND VALLEY IS EXCELLENT. From the day we drove in the sites were picked up and clean, the lake is awesome for kayaking and the wooded areas and lots awesome. The host was also very welcoming and engaged daily. The one concern is of dead trees in the Campground hoping it would not storm and fall on our Rig.

Love going to Big Hill Lake. Tony, camp host is a nice guy and makes you feel welcomed. Bathrooms kept clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Nice people that respect each other's space. Lots of good and no complaints...will continue to be my primary camping lake. Thanks

For it being a federal lake they need to do a lot of work to the campsites and shower houses. I’ve stayed at a lot of federal lakes and by far the worst one. The bathrooms and showers didn’t even have locks on the stalls. Showers are push bottom activated so they only last about 15 seconds unless you keep pushing the button. Campsites would be nice if they had 50amp on them all instead of just a handful. Not every campuses has water hookups. You have to run a long hose to a central location. Some of the sites trees are in the way so it makes it impossible to put out your awning.
