Very nice paved and level sites for different size campers. Nice mowing to keep weeds and ticks back away from camping area. Water available if not at each site. Clean cloroxed bathrooms, Thank you very much. Need hand soap dispensers though. Never ran out of toilet paper. Quiet. Nice area to bike ride with challenging hills. Plsyground for kids.

The campground map on-line was very misleading. Many of the sites have a dip at the entry that prevent backing in. I had to change sites which required me to cancel one, wait for a refund, and book a different site. This was a lengthy process and camp host was of no help, only threatening me to make a reservation or move out.

Have ben coming here for 30+ years. Love this place. Nice spacing between campgrounds. Nice level sites. Lots of trees for shade. My only complaint is I wished more of the lake was open for skiing and tubing without so many trees in the lake. I enjoy fishing too, but it takes up a lot of the lake and many trees are just under the service so have to be careful even when fishing not to hit or get hung up on the trees.

From Cherryvale, Kansas, take U.S. Highway 169 and turn east onto Main Street. Continue through the town and turn right onto Olive Street. Go 1/2 a block and turn left onto County Route 5000. Proceed 4.5 miles to Big Hill Lake and follow signs to Mound Valley.
