What Guests Are Saying
Mound Valley offers clean and well-maintained campsites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the friendly camp hosts and the excellent swimming beach, as well as the spacious, shaded sites. While some facilities, like the bathrooms and shower houses, could use improvements, many guests have enjoyed their overall experience and plan to return.

Don't know why the Corp doesn't fix the water faucets by the road between site's 28 - 34 two have not worked for a couple years and now the third one in front of 34 doesn't work!!!! there is only 1 potable water faucet at the dump station cause the other one broke years ago.

We love this spot easy access to everything.
The shower houses are clean the water is really hot! Wish I could adjust that.
The only Thing we struggled with are not controllable. It rained a lot while we were there and got muddy, and there are a lot worse f ticks currently. We will definitely return

The bathrooms were disgusting. In the entire time we were there, I never seen anyone cleaning them. Apparently they also no longer clean out the fire pits. I still love this place, but it’s quickly going down hill.

Overall nice camping trip. Disappointed there was no water hook up at site 82. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms!

The leaves need to be cleaned up away from sites. Shouldn’t be around tables when you arrive.

Very nice view sites. Sites seem sheltered from the wind. Can't beat the corps.

We love Big Hill and the beauty it offers! Our #18 spot on the Mound Valley side was quiet and peaceful. It also had a great spot for launching our kayaks so we could experience a different view of the lake this time. Can't wait to be back again soon!

It would be wonderful to have a dog park!
Also, is there a way to spray for ticks? I know when camping, there are going to be ticks, but this time I felt like there was an overwhelming amount of ticks. My husband had one near the back of his armpit and had to go to immediate care to have it removed.
