Very nice campground. There are basically no trees so it is not the ideal place on a hot day. Very quiet when we were there on July 9-11, 2021. Will consider coming again.

The campground is maintained very well. We had site #9 which was level and spacious. Did not use the shower house. The dump station was very clean and easy to use.

This is a great little gem of a lake and area for just flat out relaxing. It always depends on who your camping neighbors are but we have not had a bad experience here at Council Grove Lake.
