Road was closed so we could not get there. Called office, when she finally answered, she was very rude. Would not cancel reservation, so I could not use my life time pass again. Went to belle starr in Oklahoma and she fixed us up with a spot, but couldnβt use my card, had to pay full price. She was a big help. Main office for all core parks, never answered phone or return my call. I would like to see all my money back, however I donβt think I will.

Nice quiet location next to the water. Level and nice picnic table along with concrete pad and shelter from the elements.

We have a group that for many years has booked group site 3 for Thursday through Sunday. Several of us have always arrived Monday or Tuesday and were able to just pay for a spot with the gate attendant at that group site for additional days. Unfortunately that is no longer possible. So we may all be cancelling this gathering all together which is 16 RVβs. Very disappointedπ₯²

The wind blew 40 mph but other than that the bathhouse was clean and the campsite was awesome.

From I-70, take Highway 177 south for 30 miles. Turn west across Dam Road, then turn right on to City Lake Road and continue for 2 miles. Campground entrance road is on the right.

Two camping units are allowed per campsite, i.e. one RV and one tent or two tents. Only one camping unit may be plugged into the electric service. |

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Park gates close at 10pm, all park visitors who are not camping must depart prior to 10 p.m. |
