What Guests Are Saying
Rockhaven Park Campground and Equestrian Area offers clean facilities, hot showers, and well-kept campsites, making it a pleasant destination for campers and equestrians alike. Many appreciate the spacious sites and well-marked trails, although some trails require maintenance and are currently affected by flooding. Concerns have been raised about non-equestrian campers using designated horse sites, which could impact the safety and experience for horseback riders.

The trails are shaded very very nice place to ride. Nice pens well located to camp spot. Would be nice if there were more water hydrants than 3.

Not best for tent camping, packs of coyotes at night and sounds of animals trying to get into the trashcans might freak out some people. I heard something (maybe a mountain lion) kill a coyote 20 feet from my tent and we were one of the only tent campers. Facilities were well kept.

Spots 18, 20, 21, 23 are very shady!! :) Water is far away from the spots. :( 21 and 23 have nice sized corrals. Wish the website stated the water trails have been closed for 2 years.:( Trails are beautiful and shady. Blue is challenging with lots of up and down and rock. Diane the camp host is very welcoming and informative. Wish more of the spots had electricity and the water was closer. Loved it and will come back again!!

No camp person. Grass was not mowed for weeks. Someone decided to come mow on Saturday afternoon tried to mow right next to the pen, I stood there so they got the idea to stay back. Horses was not liking that! Took the water hydrate out so NO close water. Had to go buy 100’ hose!
No my ideal camping vacation. We have been coming there for years!

A nice area to go with horses. Pens are located in the trees along outer edge and provide shade. Several pens in center area has metal roof for shade. Nice quiet camp area. Has a shower/bathroom building and shelter house with fire pit. Play ground area for kids. Some sites have electric, but no water or sewer hookups. Water is available at several hydrants around the area.

Campgrounds and facilities were very well maintained! Lots of room for big rigs to move around and get parked. Camp manager is extremely helpful.
