What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the stunning lake views, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. While water is not available until mid-May and some sites may be smaller than others, many guests express a desire to return for more visits.

Not many 50 amp spots and the camping pads are not extremely long or level. But Wilson Lake is still out favorite place to be.
The town of Wilson has some great place to eat as does Sylvan Grove.

A great place to relax -- I did not like when the park ranger knocked on door at 9:30pm and demanded that my self pay sticker be hung on the pole (I had it hanging on my mirror in vehicle) - he could have waited until AM to tell us that -- but overall the experience was good -

We really enjoy going camping at Lucas Park the sites are large and mostly sticker free which is a real plus for me and the grandkids. The grounds are always clean and free of trash, the couple that oversee the campgrounds are the Best!!! friendly and also asking if need anything the bathhouse is clean and fully stocked. I always refer this place to anyone who ask about a place to camp. The only thing I would possibly change would be the fire pit grills it would be nice if the could be lowered but also like the swing away feature have now. Looking forward to camping with you again in 2022!!! Keep up the outstanding job and making camping a fun time for my family sincerely, Kim
