Sylvan Park

Sylvan Grove park is a great park to camp at. Lots of shade, clean park, Clem playground for kiddos, clean bathrooms. Park staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they would do is put in 50 amp service in at least some of the sites. But I understand the infrastructure may not be there to do that. All in all Sylvan Grove is one of my favorites to camp at!

We always stay at Sylvan Park when visiting family in Lucas. The campground is always in great shape & the host is very friendly.

This is a nice, well-kept park that does not have a water view. The checkin was closed but the gentleman who stays in the front camper came out and was very nice. The park ranger also checked in on us. We stayed one night at the end of a very long trip. The only reason for a lower rating is due to the fact that mowing (3 of them) began very early in the morning and lasted over an hour. Although we were the only camper in the first several rows, the biggest and loudest mower came to our lot first and went around very closely several times. A rock even hit our dining room window as we tried to sit and relax, luckily it didn’t break. Another came to mow what he couldn’t reach about 45 mins later. We realize they possibly wanted to get our site nice before we came out, however, we had nothing outside the camper to even slightly show we were staying and actually started to prep before they finished so there wasn’t any am relaxing. Our dog was also infested with ticks after just an hour of relaxing outside.
