What Guests Are Saying
Kendall Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite among campers for over 40 years. Visitors enjoy excellent fishing, wildlife viewing, and friendly staff, with many expressing eagerness to return. Some areas require maintenance, such as picnic tables and bathroom fixtures, and there are minor complaints regarding restroom design and noise from RV lights, but overall, the campground offers a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

We love this campground, but there were a few changes since our last visit. I think the people running the place must think everyone RV camps and not tent camping. They cemented down the picnic table in the very best spot to put a tent, then put up a no swimming sign using a 4x4 pole cemented into the ground, between the lake and the next best tent camping spot. So the view out our tent window was a big no swimming sign. Didn't want that post getting stolen! Like really, who doesn't swim at the lake???
The worst part was that they had the ground crew start cleaning using gas powered tools at 7am, waking everyone up! I know they probably thought their work ethic is awesome, right! Get the day started, right! Well I'm on vacation. I DO NOT WANT TO WAKE UP AT 7AM. If you are going to use gasoline powered tools and gas powered golf carts, do it after 11am.
Again, this is one of my favorite campgrounds. Just not this visit.

Beautiful campground that has a playground for kiddos, short trails to check out, plenty of places to go fishing, a boat ramp, washer & dryer, bathrooms are clean. However, they could use a little updating. The showers are 1 temperature, it comes out pretty hard, and you have to press a small button every 30 seconds to 1 min, or it'll shut off. Other than that, this has been my favorite campground so far.
