What Guests Are Saying
Kendall Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite among campers for over 40 years. Visitors enjoy excellent fishing, wildlife viewing, and friendly staff, with many expressing eagerness to return. Some areas require maintenance, such as picnic tables and bathroom fixtures, and there are minor complaints regarding restroom design and noise from RV lights, but overall, the campground offers a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. Sites are very spacious and restrooms are clean.

Upon my arrival, I notice Site 77 is a potential electrical hazard. The 30 amp circuit break flip switch is broke and it needs to be replaced ASAP. Even though there’s power to the 30 amp circuit, a camper doesn’t have the ability to turn off OR turn on the 30 amp circuit to safely hook up the RV to shore power. Also, the electric rain cover for the entire electrical pedestal on site 77 is broke an unattached to the unit. In my opinion, the entire outdated electrical unit on site 77 needs to be replaced.
Other than the potential electrical hazard on site 77, the campground is wonderful and the camp hosts are terrific.

I always love camping at kendall. The staff, especially Kathy and Gary, are so nice and friendly. So peaceful. Fishing and boating are among my favorites, also walking the trails. Just love it. ❤️

There is a lot of things to do at this campground- for every age. We travel with our three year-old daughter and she loves this place. She enjoys playing in the water area and having ice cream afterwards. Her dad likes to go fishing and always seems to catch something. Then we all like to walk the numerous trails and see how close we can get to the deer (you can always see some deer, pretty close up to). Some camping spots are tight or hard for the larger trailers to get into, so might want to check that out before booking one. Plenty of shade and quiet at night. Would highly recommend.

Great little campground right behind the Cumberland dam. Workers were out everyday making sure sites were well kept and clean. We were basically bug free the entire week, not even one mosquito bite which is huge! Enjoyed the fish hatchery, swimming at the lake and the snack shack! We will definitely be back!
