What Guests Are Saying
Kendall Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite among campers for over 40 years. Visitors enjoy excellent fishing, wildlife viewing, and friendly staff, with many expressing eagerness to return. Some areas require maintenance, such as picnic tables and bathroom fixtures, and there are minor complaints regarding restroom design and noise from RV lights, but overall, the campground offers a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

This is the only place we camp. It is very hard to get a reservation because it is so popular. This time it seemed there was a lot of people riding on golf carts that were not handicap. Some were old and very loud when they went by. Which I thought you were to have a handicapped placard to have one in the campground.

Campground is beautiful. Sites are mostly shaded and spaced apart. Lots of nice trails. We plan on coming back.

Well maintained campground, wooded sites and good services (water and power). The National Fish Hatchery was within walking distance and had an interesting exhibit along with being able to walk through the hatchery and see the fish being fed or feed them yourself. This is a very nice place to stay and if you're into fishing, even better.

Camp sites are the best size ever and level which is very helpful in setting up. Location is great because you have access to the lake or river

Site 13 was a little cramped with other sites at rear of site. Overall, camping trip went well. It was extremely hot; therefore, we spent a lot of time in RV. I noticed a lot of tents in sites well equipped for larger RVs. In my opinion, the larger sites should be used by the larger RVs. I normally try to reserve sites on the Kendall loop (sites 59 through 77). These sites were unavailable, so I settled for site 13. Several of the sites 59 thru 77 were occupied with tents. For Kendall campers with boats on lake, I think it would be very nice to have a secured area to dock boats overnight, so we don't have to load / unload boat. There's added stress with having to take boat out of lake each day. I think other recreational activities are needed at Kendall campground. Maybe frisby golf or other guided recreational or educational programs.

Nice sites and flat but we were in the annex and it only had one mens toilet which isn't enough for that many sites and was always a wait at least you need to add one more toilet

Quiet! Shaded! Plenty of activities for the kids and adults alike. Large sires with good level pads.
