What Guests Are Saying
Kendall Campground is well-maintained, clean, and offers a peaceful environment, making it a favorite for many campers. The facilities are generally in good condition, with friendly staff and beautiful natural surroundings, ideal for fishing and wildlife viewing. Some minor issues were noted, such as communication during power outages and a few maintenance concerns, but overall, visitors expressed their love for the campground and their intention to return.

I normally love every moment spent at Kendall, this was by far the worst trip there. So many Golf Carts, all day long. I know you can't tell all disability by sight but when you have teenagers driving them it kinda speaks for its self. It has changed the past couple of years. People are really rude about walking thru your campsite and leaving bright lights on the canopies all night. Hoping my next trip will be better.

Excellent campground and easy access to fishing. The showers need to be upgraded to more user friendly shower controls. Overall it’s a great campground.

The original Kendall will always be my favorite camping spot. There are plenty trees with shade. Good green spaces The attendants are always friendly and helpful. There is good spacing between the sites so you don’t feel crowded.
This last trip was pretty early in the season and was wet and cool/cold which I don’t mind. Made the morning and evening camp fires extra nice. I always enjoy my camping experiences at Kendall.

Only negative was the weather. Had rain, sleet, and wind. Sunday was perfect.

We stayed in site #70 it was a good site. The electrical boxes are visible & located beside the site but we didn’t mind. Everything was well mowed & cared for. Bath house was also clean. We enjoyed the trout stream too.

Check-in was extremely easy. The hosts are fantastic people. We were there for four days and had to spilt our time between two sites (we were late making reservations). Both sites (8&11) were good (not the best; again last minute reservations), but both held our 30’ travel trailer and pickup truck. The fish hatchery is a must visit and it’s free (but they do take donations). There is access to the river (below the dam) and a trout stream. They said there were trout in the stream, but we never caught any…but I’m sure it was us. We will be back several times throughout the year, as it is an easy distance for us to drive for a weekend getaway. The main campground has a lot of kids, whereas the annex seems to be an older crowd and fewer kids.
