First time at this campground and we loved it, even with the tornado that occurred in London, Ky. The spaces are well maintained and generously spaced apart, staff and host were excellent. Highly recommend

Like the new people running it this year. Very professional, helpful, have common sense and actually care about their jobs/campers

Fantastic campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The site was fantastic! I was at H1 so it was on the outer edge of the H loop right before G started. Secluded but well maintained. There is a nice trail to the bathroom in G loop which comes close-ish to the site (I could make out the tops of peoples’ heads going by) but otherwise you are pretty much by yourself. The site across from me (H19) had steps leading down to the picnic table and it was very secluded. Might consider that spot next time. I had great cell service with AT&T (almost a negative because I couldn’t just put my phone away for the weekend). Would recommend Cumberland Falls State Park and VanHook Falls Trail for some hiking. Dollar General is about 20 minutes south and they had anything you might have forgotten to bring. I came in from OH and the GPS had me get off in London and take 192 in which was fine but a decent amount of winding turns. Doable in my 19’ trailer but got a little annoying. Also I would not recommend going into London hooked up. Lots of road construction and I had a hard time finding a spot to park to use a restroom at Walmart. Went south through Corbin to leave and was much happier. Also a big Pilot one exit North on 75 to fill up if needed.

We have camped at Holly Bay for 30+ years. It is our favorite place to camp. There does need to be some work done at some of the sites, gravel etc.
