Fantastic campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The site was fantastic! I was at H1 so it was on the outer edge of the H loop right before G started. Secluded but well maintained. There is a nice trail to the bathroom in G loop which comes close-ish to the site (I could make out the tops of peoplesβ heads going by) but otherwise you are pretty much by yourself. The site across from me (H19) had steps leading down to the picnic table and it was very secluded. Might consider that spot next time. I had great cell service with AT&T (almost a negative because I couldnβt just put my phone away for the weekend). Would recommend Cumberland Falls State Park and VanHook Falls Trail for some hiking. Dollar General is about 20 minutes south and they had anything you might have forgotten to bring. I came in from OH and the GPS had me get off in London and take 192 in which was fine but a decent amount of winding turns. Doable in my 19β trailer but got a little annoying. Also I would not recommend going into London hooked up. Lots of road construction and I had a hard time finding a spot to park to use a restroom at Walmart. Went south through Corbin to leave and was much happier. Also a big Pilot one exit North on 75 to fill up if needed.

We have camped at Holly Bay for 30+ years. It is our favorite place to camp. There does need to be some work done at some of the sites, gravel etc.

Very nice campground with wooded, well spaced sites. Each site is blown to remove leaves before your visit. Quiet. Beautiful lake.
Super clean bathrooms and good showers.

Beautiful campground with lots of space between sites. This was our second visit to this campground. We stayed in D loop the first time and H loop this time. We were close to the bathroom so it was very convenient and the hosts keep it very clean. We plan on being back next year and marked a couple of sites on the grounds map to try to reserve. We were in H3 this time and it was one of the smaller sites, which was fine for our setup but a big camper would be very cramped. This campground is a great place to bring the kids and their bicycles with lots of room to ride. There are walking trails around the perimeter of the grounds and access to the lake right odd the trail. There is a campground only boat ramp and fish cleaning house, which is very convenient. The campground doesn't have a store but it's right next to Holly Bay Marina if you need a few quick things, including bait or boat gas. It is situated between Corbin and London with about a 20 minute drive to either town. We highly recommend this campground.
