I love Holly Bay, itβs our favorite campground and lake in the state. I do want to bring something to your attention that was really disappointing.
We are kayakers and we have always parked our truck on the side near the ramp. This year, I got a call when we were out saying we arenβt allowed to park down there without a trailer. Our only option was to walk all the way back to our campsite to park. This is discrimination and I pay the same amount for my site as the boaters. I feel itβs totally unfair and I think the policy needs to be revisited. Iβd be happy to put on a different tag but the 20min walk to my campsite after being on the water all day was sad. This has never been a problem in years past. Please make a change.

This place exceeded my expectations. The camper spots were amazing, groomed and level. Had a good path down to our picnic table and fire pit area. Wasnβt close to our neighbors. Had some privacy.

It was a Beautiful campground. The campground host were all very nice. Love feeling like we were actually camping being in the wooded areas. Lots of trails, water views, the beach was just a short drive away. We visited Cumberland Falls while we were there it was only 30min drive.

Our stay at Holly Bay Campground was excellent. Clean sites and restrooms. The showers were good; nice hot water and plenty of pressure. The hosts were kind and helpful.

Our location G6 is a great location for kids. With the circle being at this location it helps to keep the kids near the camp location.

Camp host was amazing. We never needed anything, but saw the host regularly and always waved and friendly.
