Beautiful campground and awesome spot! The trail to the lake is steep, but worth it! The lake is so peaceful. The hiking trails are well maintained and fairly easy to traverse. The restrooms and shower houses were very clean. Our camp host, Gino, was one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Overall, we had a great experience at Holly Bay.

our campsite was nice but as others noted notional cell and over the air tv, it was a bit of a hike to the bath house as well. unfortunately other campers chose to ignore the guidance parking vehicles on the grass and letting their kids plug up the toilets in the men's room. glad we were self contained

Holly Bay is a beautiful campground. The sites are big and beautiful and private. There hosts were phenomenally wonderful!! The paths were awesome and the lake is so amazingly clean!! The shower houses are another story. My husband doesnβt complain about much but even he thinks they were dirty. He said someone needs to come and pressure wash them. The old faucets are terrible. You have to push them to turn them on and then you get maybe 15-30 seconds water before they need pushed again. And the floor is
terribly dirty and unsanitary. Old stuff is fine IF itβs maintained properly. This needs updated. We showered twice up there in the shower house and finally couldnβt do it anymore. We just showered in our camper. Very disappointed in the shower.

The bathrooms were the cleanest I had ever seen in coming to the campground in 42+years.

The campsites are roomy, private & always clean. Check-in was seamless. We didn't see much of the campground host on G loop but we didn't really have any issues. The bathhouse is in need of an update & in summer the showers are too hot! Some poison ivy control would be nice π Holly Bay would be hard to beat for our situation. Our favorite campground!
