Try not to forget anything. Stores are about 16 miles from park. Electric connection at my site was about 25 ft from back of parking site.

It was a 4 hour drive for us but that was the only downside. We stayed in D4 which had a path down to the lake where we could get in and float or swim which was very nice. The only negative was the distance from the campsite to the water. You can bank your kyak or fishing boat on the shore below your campsite, however, they are out of sight so there's a trust issue there. I left mine there with no issue . The view from the site was great and the campgrounds are neat and well keep. Nice size sites with partial wooding between which makes them more private. I would definately return!!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the camp sites were clean and well maintained. Gorgeous, family friendly place to spend a few nights and enjoy the lake and forrest. We will definitely be coming back here for future trips.

The only complaint is the dump station. We had to wait over an hour. It would be very beneficial to have a second dump station. There is obviously plenty of room for one. I spoke with the host over this topic, and he was agreeable.

Sites are spacious and not crowded, very clean place. I was mainly excited about the fishing but even though the water looks accessible from the map, it’s really not. You’re on the mountain side and even if you hiked down, the water is shielded by brush and trees. Also very little cell service

The boat ramp parking spots are old school and made for short trailers. Its very difficult to park beside other longer trailers and be able to back out of spot especially if longer trailer is parked across from you. Some investment needs to be made at boat ramp parking. Take out the empty building and some trees and make the area bigger. Stripe the parking spots at angle like most modern boat parking. Asphalt the shoulders going down to ramp so that area can be used for parking without getting warnings for parking on gravel shoulder. There is literally no where else to park. The overflow parking area is a mess. Full of utility trailers, piles of junk wood etc.. The boat ramp parking and overflow parking need corrected.
