Laurel Lake is magnificent and the campground is nice with many trails leading to the lake. For the most part, the grounds are kept clean and the spots are nice and mostly surrounded by trees for great shade. The bathhouses however...are disgusting. Mold is so thick in the showers that I felt dirtier after I showered than before I went in. Hair is piled up in all of the drains. It is truly disgusting. The bathrooms get checked numerous times a day according to the checklist hanging on the door, but about as far as they clean is making sure the trash is taken out and toilet paper restocked. We were there 5 nights and showered multiple times. The same piles of hair and other trash and dead bugs laid in the corners of the shower stalls all week. I have pictures I’d love to share with management of interested.

We have been camping at Holly Bay for over 40 years. We went when our boys were small and we go now with our four grandchildren. I wouldn’t camp anywhere else. You won’t be disappointed.

G5 is a fantastic site. We had the boat parked at the bottom of the hill. Great site, great experience. Not too close to the neighbors.

Great site. Wood and ice available from camp host. Camp employees were really nice. Enjoyed the large area and hiking. Very quite and peaceful.

Had a lot of rain that week but the campground still provided a scenic site. Bathrooms and showers could have been cleaner and better managed but outside of that had a great week with family and friends.

Our first time at Holly Bay. I loved the campground and the privacy and distance between sites. Everyone was seeming to follow the rules with leashed pets and loved the lake and hiking trails. Definitely will be returning and the staff was very friendly and informative. Thank you.

From London, Kentucky, take Exit 38 off I-75. Turn west on KY 192, then go 14.2 miles and turn south (left) on KY 1193. Follow signs to Holly Bay Campground entrance (3 miles).

Policies & Rules
General
- Each single campsite is limited to 6 people and 2 vehicles.Double sites are limited to 12 people and 4 vehicles.Cars, trucks, trailers, boats, motorcycles ,etc. ARE considered vehicles. One boat or trailer per site only.All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on roadsides, grass, or non-designated areas is not permitted.If space allows, additional vehicles may be permitted for a $10 fee per vehicle. However, extra vehicles may be refused if parking is not available.All additional vehicles must exit the campground by , unless parked in an approved designated parking area.Guests are responsible for ensuring their party complies with all occupancy and vehicle limits.
- Pet Policy – Dogs must be kept on a visible leash at all times. Electronic fence collars are not allowed.
- Reserve Your Site Carefully – Make sure the site you choose can accommodate your equipment. The site you reserve is yours; moving to another site is not allowed.
- Boat & Trailer Policy – Only one boat and trailer per campsite is allowed due to limited space at the boat ramp and within the campsites. Boat Trailers Count as a vehicle.
- Electric Surcharge – Electric hookups include a surcharge in the campsite price.
- Occupancy Limits – Maximum of 6 campers per single site.

- Bear Safety – Bears frequent in the area. Keep all food in approved containers at all times to protect yourself and wildlife.
- Firewood Guidelines – Don’t move firewood! Help protect our forests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. To learn more, visit Don't Move Firewood
