We donβt want to spread the word too much! Itβs hard enough to get a camping spot as it is.

A perfect get-away in every way. Excellent sites with views of the lake and easy access to trails (including the Sheltowee Trace!). Laurel Lake provides many pleasures including my favorite, swimming. We come twice a year, but I wouldn't hesitate to go more often if time permits.

Only there for one night. The site and campground in general were great! Approximately an hour after arriving the electric pedestal overheated and we lost power for the night. Luckily the temperatures were moderate so we had no need of AC and we ran refrigerator on gas. Notified the gate attendant in the AM while leaving. He explained that issue was not unusual and he would deal with it. Hope they get electrical updated.

This is our favorite campground to camp. The sites are for the most part private. Campers arenβt stacked right on top of you. It has a boat ramp at the campsite. Dark at night. Great hosts. Lots of trails and wildlife. Perfect camping.

how fabulous is it to be overlooking a beautiful, warm lake, with several hundred miles of hiking/biking trails right out your back door! plus...just left my kayak down by the lake below my campsite. perfect...oh...except for the chiggers that i got in to somewhere. Take precautions! Got to see an otter pop out of the water just a few feet from my pup, so funny.
