The camp site was nice and clean.
The website is terrible and unreliable.

Everyone looks for different things when camping. For me, I love shady trees, birdsong, and lots of space between campsites. Holly Bay is my new favorite! The campsites are spacious, nestled in mature trees, with lake views in some loops. There isn't a swimming beach on property, but it's near a public swimming area at Laurel Lake Dam Spillway and you can rent a boat or go fishing with Holly Bay Marina nearby. Hiking options are plentiful as it's on the Sheltowee Trace trail, and Cumberland Falls is a 30 minute drive. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles at this campground, which I love. It is clean, quiet, very well managed, and a wonderful place to reconnect with nature.

Enjoyed our time here. Staff at Holly were very nice and kept a clean and peaceful campground. Restrooms were tidy. While you are here ride “The Rattlesnake” from Somerset, Kentucky to Holly Bay. Laurel Lake Marina is very nice well kept with great staff, food and rentals.

We really like this location, very spacious lots with paved parking. This was one of the quietest parks I have stayed in. A lot of stuff in the area to visit and town is not far away.
