This was my first time camping at Axtel camp site. Although the site seemed a little small and the sites were close to each other. The experience over all was enjoyable. The swimming area was a short easy walk and access to the lake to go fishing was across the street and did not disturb or interfere with My neighbors.

Almost every site is on the lake or has a good view of the lake. Each restroom facility is outfitted with public Wi-Fi antenna that covers most sites. Nice check out time(4:30pm). The one area we were disappointed in was the site cleanliness. We left our site more clean than we found it. We thought the bathhouse facilities were keep clean

Great site! F117. Plenty of space, close to beach area and can also pull up to your site and tie off your boat. Seen a heron a couple times, as well as ducks. Grounds people were busy keeping grass mowed and taken care of. We enjoyed the laughter of children at all hours. It was just good to know they were doing camping right! Biggest con for me was 1 bath house was closed and the other wasn't fantastic but not horrible. We will definitely be back.

Very nice park. Love that the sites are not right on top of each other. We had to leave early but appreciated the partial refund that we were able to receive. Will definitely be back!
