Everything was, as usual, very enjoyable at Twin Knobs except for the bath house situation. The camp hosts explained that they think the backed up drainage was a result of some troublemakers prior to our arrival. The hosts were very noce about the whle thing and this only took a little of the enjoyment away after all. We have been camping as a group at Cave Run for 18 years this year and we will definitely be back.

The sites are well spaced so you aren't right on top of your neighbors and the bathroom facilities were very clean.

Camp site was very clean with many trees and privacy. The restrooms/showers were also very clean.

I loved my large and private site at J20. The campground was clean and each loop had access to the lake. There was quite a bit of trash left by the lake which was sad but didn't effect my campground rating.

Disappointing experience overall. Our site had very little tree coverage and sat very close to the road. There group across from us we're very inconsiderate. The kids and adults were loud and shouting well past 1am. No one was enforcing quiet hours. Their kids rode the bikes into our site early in the morning. We had reserved the site for three nights but after our experience the first night, we decided to pack up and head home after just one. We won't return to Twin Knobs.
On the plus side, the hiking trail was nice and we were able to get our canoe out on the lake easily.
