Stayed 4 nights and it rained the first night and the campsite flooded a small amount but was soaked up within a couple hours. The gravel area wasn’t big enough for 1-8 person tent and 1- 4 person tent. The beach was beautiful though but wouldn’t let dogs in the beach area and we had a dog so we couldn’t swim together. We were in a site where it was difficult to back into. It was a beautiful area though. We walked the summit trail and it was a waste of time with no view at the top. So don’t go if it’s for the view! Had a great time overall though. Will go again!!

Many of the campsites need more gravel added and I have made this comment for the last two years, when it rains heavy the sites stay wet much longer and get muddy due to low gravel. Many dead trees hanging over several sites the Forest Service needs to get in there and cut down before they fall on a trailer or a camper!!
Need to consider adding electric to all non electric sites many tent campers are now taking up electric sites leaving fewer sites open for RV campers and many of the non-electric sites will accommodate RV's and have very nice views of the lake, I do believe if this was done an increase in profits may be gained here...

Campground was maintained 100x better than it was with the previous management. But they still need to freshen up the gravel on the campsites, they need to cut the brush and weeds away from the sites more. They also need to open up both lanes to traffic at the entrance gate so the people who already have their passes can go on through without waiting in a 45 minute line. Overall the staff is a lot nicer than with previous management.
