We stayed on A7 with electric hookups. The closest water was about 100 ft. or so away. The site was easy to back into and it was pretty level. We had room for my 37 ft. RV and a truck parked in front. There is some additional parking just up from the site. There is a trail down to the lake just beside this site. We parked our boat in the bay behind A loop, so it was an easy walk down to the boat. The new group, Vista, has made some improvements at the campground. The dump station had new hoses and a little better set up than last year. The forest service is doing some blacktopping in the campground to make improvements. The trails have been cut back and cleaned up. I'm hoping that when we get a new ranger for this district that he or she will be more aware of what needs to be done for the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Some of the walking trails needed cleaned from down trees and brush but great experience otherwise.

The site was very clean and the bathrooms were nice. It was also a quiet camping experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

We was in C3 and our power box 50amp was out and our camp host went above and beyond and was able to get it fixed late in the evening! Without the host we would have been miserable due to the heat so we are grateful and we made new friends.

Recent blacktop of the roads in the camping area didn't allow for drainage at the site access. At site J4 muck by the site entrance was hazardous especially for my handicap wife. Accept for this problem our stay was very enjoyable.

The sites are very clean and all shaded, at least loop E was. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The beach was also very nice!

We stayed at H20. It was spacious, shaded, and quiet. Bathhouse within 40 feet was a plus. We brought our boat for fun on the lake. Ramp is easy and very close. The park is clean and the lake was perfect. We will be back again next year.

Beautiful park, great signage making it easy to find our site (we arrived very late at night after a storm), and a very large mostly level site that was easy to back into in the dark. Trees obscured most of the view of the lake but there was a short trail down to the water right from the site.
My only criticism is that the $28 site fee ended up being $43 once we paid the $7 premium for a lakefront site and the $8 reservation fee. So it’s very misleading to say this is a $28 site. That’s a steep price for a non-electric site.

The campground and lake was amazing! I did have to use three different websites to get the campsite I wanted. I feel the app could be updated with everything in one.
