Clean, peaceful & easy to relax!
Beware of heavy flies & mosquitoes, bring lots of bug spray!
Beautiful place to camp & visit! Take your kids to the visitor center for their museum and to become a junior ranger. They also have a schedule of things to do!

This is the third year we have camped on the beach and the kids love the experience and continue to look forward to it each year. We have a canopy tent with a screen to keep the bugs out and it would get hot in the direct sun without it. The group sites tend to have more space but both years we camped there ended up having more noise from neighbors. Enjoy!

Beautiful location and hard working rangers and staff. Please keep our national parks system as it is or better. Once gone it can never be recovered.

The Park Rangers and assisting staff are excellent to meet and very helpful. The eagerness to teach and help kids who ask questions made for a delightful experience and really shows how much everyone at the park cares about what they do.
The showers are in what appears to be the best repair the staff can give them but it appears indicating the best job staff can perform with operating expenses but it is showing that capital expenses are not being provided to the park and staff are doing the best than can with what they have. Please consider better ways to finance the park and the mission the staff fulfill. We are lucky to have the parks and the people that decide to dedicate themselves to these parks. Let's take care of both and support them for today and the future.
Again, my kid loves visiting and the staff make a wonderful park come alive with details and information he enjoys learning about.

It was okay stay. Was expecting flush toilets and hand washing stations but they had smelly pit toilets. Also was unlucky that horse did #2 close to the enterence of camp site so it was stinking. High wind had help with that issue. Showers rooms were large but had to continuously press it to take shower. Shower heads were not very useful to remove sand. Overall, okay experience. I will not come back.

Right on the beach, plenty of wildlife as well. The walk to the site was not bad at all. The bathrooms are the compost ones- no sinks.
