I love this park. Our site was clean and right on the beach. We participated in the clamming and crabbing expo with the rangers and loved it. Canβt wait to come back next year!

An amazing spot! Great layout! The doors to the storage under the table latch great. But sometimes the shower shall door next to the site flies open and close in the wind so it can slam hard randomly.

W enjoyed how wild and remote it was, but a short drive to restaurants. Everyone told us the bugs would be bad but instead it was very windy and no bugs at all. Make sure you check out the whole island. The bay side is quite different from the ocean. Great breakfast available on site at the 5 tides!

Assateague is a beautiful and peaceful place. Even though the horses are the entertainment and thatβs why people come. Itβs so much more to that island. So many things to do. Kayaking, fishing, bike ride and enjoy there trails or just go to the beach everyday. Itβs always something to do. And so many other animals to see.

A beautiful, special place and one of the true gems of our national parks system. Wait, maybe I shouldn't talk much about the glory of AINS... it's hard enough to get a campsite reservation as it is...

I was glad that you removed the site numbers from the parking spots. It was one more rule to follow and honestly not necessary. I was able to get a spot near my site entrance with no difficulty.
The camp host was very friendly and provided rule reminders instead of being aggressive.
The whole camping experience was friendly and enjoyable.
