The campground is in a great location, very safe and secluded. The Park Police station is at the entrance to the park so lots of police presence.
The METRO is approximately 2 miles from the Greenbelt station which will take you downtown to the Archives Station, a perfect location to access the National Mall and located directly behind the Nat. Archives
The bathrooms are old and definitely need an upgrade. Only one (1) shower per bathroom. The bathrooms were never cleaned the twelve days we were there. Ended up cleaning the shower ourselves.

The campground was a great escape from the busyness of the city. Easy to access two metro stations that took our group into Washington DC. The grounds were well kept. The staff was very friendly, helpful and resourcefull.
Definitly would recommend to anyone and will return.

Great location, decent cell service, really felt like home and I don't feel that way at all campgrounds. I even booked an extra night because of that. Also, the camp host remembered me from last year which was really cool. Not often that you run into familiar people 400 miles from home so that was nice. Don't know when, but I can't wait to return!
