Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. From Greenbelt, we visited my son at Cherry Hill Campground, went to the Cherry Blossom Festival, saw Annapolis, the Luray caverns, and also 14 State Parks. We also visited the Jim Hensen memorial at Maryland University and saw Vanadu Art House, nearby Atlas Obscura attractions. Each night we had the comfort of our own trailer and a nice hot shin the campground. By staying here for only $10.00 per night (with Senior Discount), we could afford to stay longer and see more stuff!

Campground was clean and shower/restrooms were clean also. Park was in a great location to visit Washington DC. Very short drive to train station to take to the mall. Also close to many restaurants if needed. Staff at park very helpful.
